Göksu Gül

was born in Ankara in 1984. In addition to working as a cartoonist, she is devoted to the natural process of growing, living and passing away. By thoroughly observing her environment and the things going on around her naturally, she analyzes what holds the world, or life, together at its core in a process of artistic creation. The development and the decay of life impress her and appear meticulously in the form of organs, depictions of nature, cells, cell development and cellular change.
In the course of her creative process, she records an accompanying encoded description in works on paper.
